Sophia is associated with skillful living and sound judgement, the pursuit of fundamental truths, and the Divine Presence active within Creation. Across the East and West, all major spiritual wisdom traditions offer paths of transformation towards fuller participation in love. And right now, our world needs more love and wisdom.
At Sophia MKE, we explore together what may need to be transformed within you, so that you have the freedom to participate as fully as possible to the invitations of love within your life. As we seek your own deepest wisdom, we may also draw from a variety of wisdom sources, including religious lineages, Western psychology, and your own body and experience.

Sophia Circles offer you the opportunity to explore wisdom within a community of fellow seekers. These small groups of 5-8 individuals explore a theme in depth over the course of ten months, meeting monthly from September to June.
New groups will be forming in September 2026. Please sign up for the newsletter below to receive information on these groups as it becomes available.

These 50-minute sessions create an intentional space to explore your spiritual life. Together, we pay attention to the presence of the Sacred and to the invitations to greater love within the concrete particulars of your life. We tend to your inner life as we cultivate curiosity, interior freedom and compassion. Generally we meet monthly as an ongoing spiritual practice.
A free introductory session is offered to explore this option.

The 19th annotation of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola invites you to come to know more fully your purpose in the world. It includes a commitment to a daily personal prayer practices and weekly spiritual direction sessions for about 9 months. The traditional Exercises are interwoven with an evolutionary worldview and spirituality, based in the work of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, SJ.
